So what's new for the Pusey lads and lasses? Other than three new schools, a lot! Our two lads and two lasses continue to keep us moving in eight different directions.
Lizzie started the Great High School Adventure this fall in the 9th Grade at Cherry Creek High School. She wasted no time getting involved and tried out for the field hockey team. Lizzie was a great contributor on offense and defense and has a great start in the sport. Lizzie continues to set the example for the other lads and lasses with a studious attitude in advanced math, language arts and French. Of course, turning 14 was a highlight for Lizzie and now we are dealing with church dances and a more vigorous social schedule.
Harrison will turn 12 in February enjoys anything to do with the Lord of the Rings. He made an "exact replica" (sorry, John) of his ancestor, John Bringhurst, as part of their study of immigrants in school. Harrison is trying to improve his golf game and is progressing nicely on the viola. Harrison is working hard in scouting.
Will is even more of our resident expert on Lord of the Rings history, weaponry and language. Will is nine and in 4th grade and is keeping pace with his past year's comedic output. Will's chose to portray Robert E. Lee at Willow Creek Elementary's Night of Notables this past spring. Will enjoyed having his cousin Tadd Challis spend time with us in Denver this summer and really made great improvement in his competitive swimming. Our "Buddy Bill" loves being helpful in the kitchen and is learning how to cook alongside his mom. He takes pride in being the family's chief pancake cooker.
Arianne turned five in April and started Kindergarten in the fall. Ari is studying piano, violin and dance. She has taken to school without missing a beat and continues to amaze and impress her parents and teachers with her obedient and cheerful spirit. |
