Upon reflection, our months in 2006 spent focused on drills, hammers, saws and other implements to help us renovate our house, helped us think of other tools that helped us during 2006. Here are a few brief thoughts: Arianne: "I qualified for the Colorado State long-course swim meet. Tools that I used to get there were concentration, and my coach, Tom." Will: "Last year in school (RMSEL) I was pretty unorganized. I was missing assignments and it made putting together my end-of-the-year portfolio for all my school work very tough. I want to improve my organization so I am using a few tools. I am keeping a better planner and holding Monday meetings with my teachers." Jenifer: "My tools are my Steinway, my Casio Privia and an efficiently laid out new kitchen. I provide Music and Meals." |
Harrison: "I made the freshman basketball team at Cherry Creek High School. Tools I used to accomplish this were: (1) Going to pre-season training four times a week, (2) Shooting baskets on my own for many hours, (3) Running to get in shape, and (4) Hustle." Lizzie: "My main tool is our 1998 VW New Beetle. It takes me to school (and Harrison). I use it to get to my job. I use it to go just about anywhere and everywhere. I even used it to create a valuable life experience at the Greenwood Village Traffic Court." Scott: "I am focusing on my overall health. Tools I am using are yoga, oat bran, fewer cheeseburgers (this has been tough) and hemp hearts (yes, you read that right). And of course my main tool in this area is my knowledgeable wife, Jenifer."
