Basic Skills
1. School Pictures
One of the first things one has to master in order to properly prepare for college is how to take a decent school picture. Don't be alarmed parents, your children will have ample opportunity to get this skill perfected. All you have to do is provide the new clothes every year, the proper haircut, whatever cosmetics are needed, orthodontic corrective devices and of course the reasonable fees paid to the dude who was lucky enough to get the school pictures contract. You can be the judge as to how far the Pusey kids need to go before they check this one off the old college prep list. Oh yeah, "senior" pictures are a great concept. Parents, be sure to take planning for this very seriously. Most importantly, start a specific savings plan for senior pictures at the same time you start saving for college.

2. PowerPoint
If your child has not mastered PowerPoint by the time he or she is in 4th grade, getting her into the college of her choice is in serious jeopardy. You may want to consider an emergency action plan which is well beyond the scope of what this website can provide. Here is Arianne giving a presentation on Egyptian Mummification. She is far ahead of her brothers on PowerPoint we are afraid. Harrison disputes that, for the record.
