Well, another year has come and gone. One third of my young life, spent. Oh, the innocent bliss of my early childhood years is moving inexorably toward those distant shores of elementary school. In the meantime, I relish the chance to give you, dear readers, a brief glimpse into my cheerful little world. I have spent much of the past year as a patient observer of the chaotic Tour de Pusey 2001. From the vantage point of my snug little trailer, I have seen what seems like the whole world passing by, though I must confess, the view straight ahead of me on these journeyings is, if can I avoid being impolite, not so pleasant. My Daddy is keeping the muscle tone though, I will say! My main avocation has become dance. Oh, the joy, the freedom, the power of movement has on my little soul! I feel one with the sky as I float through the rythymns, feeling the poignancy of every note from the tip of my head to the ends of my little tootsies, er, feet. All the various disciplines appeal to me, ballet, tap, jazz, modern, etc. It is just as well because my mother has enrolled me in an introductory survey course which I thoroughly enjoy. As I bring this brief message to a close, I just want to say that even though my parents are trying their best, they just do not seem to get it when I still take those precious moments of solitude with my Barbies or change my clothes for the seventeenth time of the day. Some day, perhaps, time will tell. I just hope I can get on a two-wheeler soon. |
